Recently, the 2022 Annual Alliance Conference and award ceremony held by the China Open Instruction Ecology (RISC-V) Alliance was held in Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, and Xinsheng Intelligence, as a leading domestic solid-state storage controller chip and solution provider, was invited to attend. Won the "2022 Chip Innovation Award" with RISC-V based dual-mode SSD main control chip.


At the meeting, Ni Guangnan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, once again stressed that "the significance of open source RISC-V to the CPU industry will be similar to the significance of open Linux to the OS industry, and achieve three points in the future mainstream CPU architecture competition pattern."

"Dual-mode" main control chip refers to the two interfaces of PCIe4.0 and SATA3.0 at the same time, namely XT8210 and XT6130, named "Walker".


XT8210 front-end with PCIe4.0×4 high-speed interface, back-end using 8-channel flash memory interface, support for NVMe1.4 transmission protocol, sequential read/write speed up to 7000/6000MBps, 4K random read/write up to 1000k/900k IOPS, support a maximum capacity of 16TB, the industry's leading performance.


XT6130 has SATA3.0 enterprise-class high-speed interface, sequential write up to 560/520MBps, 4K random read and write up to 100k/90k IOPS, support a maximum capacity of 8TB, with stable stability, high reliability, good performance and other features.


In addition, the Walker master control chip is designed according to the Shang Secret level 2 standard and the national test EAL4+ security standard, which ensures high performance and greatly improves the security of data storage.
